Salary: Grade 3-4 £24,796 - £25,583 pro rata
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Part time, term time only

Due to our current school secretary and clerk to governors wishing to reduce her hours, St. Mark's CE Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced secretary to join our hard working and dedicated staff team committed to raising standards throughout the school and maintaining an ethos that encourages respect for all and high standards of behaviour and learning.
We would be willing to split this role for the right candidates so if you are interested in either the clerk to governors or the secretary role, please do get in touch to discuss.
What You Need to Succeed
DUTIES INCLUDE:
* Providing administrative support to the school
* Managing and prioritising a varied workload in a busy office whilst maintaining attention to detail
* Providing support for the School Office/Reception team with tasks to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlines
* Managing the general office duties etc.
* Administration of student data, making sure GDPR is adhered to
* Provide general administrative support
* Maintain school communications
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
* Total proficiency with Microsoft programmes
* Keen eye for detail, punctual and be organised
* Very good accuracy and attention to detail
* Administration background
* Forward thinking, proactive and ability to use initiative
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Understand handling confidential information
* Able to work as part of a team but also independently
* Can take accurate minutes and maintain efficient record keeping systems
* Have experience of writing agendas and servicing meetings
