Power Electronics Engineer – High-Power DC/DC Systems An innovative and rapidly growing engineering company is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to join its R&D team. Youll help develop next-generation high-power DC/DC converters (2–10kW) used in cutting-edge electrification systems across clean energy and mobility sectors. Key Responsibilities as the Power Electronics Engineer; Design and develop high-power DC/DC converters from concept to manufacturing release. Support the Lead Electronics Engineer in resource planning, budget tracking, and project delivery. Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies. Collaborate with mechanical teams to address thermal design requirements. Produce technical documentation: test plans, validation reports, and more. Drive the design process from schematics through to certification and release. Required Skills & Experience Background in engineering or manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience with high-power DC/DC or AC/DC converters – especially buck/boost topologies. Familiarity with Li-Ion or lead-acid battery systems and battery integration. Proficient in circuit simulation tools (e.g., Simulink, MATLAB, Simetrix). Skilled in electronic CAD tools – Altium Designer preferred. Solid understanding of thermal management in electronics.
