Careerlink are recruiting for a leading logistics provider based in Warrington, and we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrator to join the team. If you have some administration experience and are looking for a new opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Responsible for running loads in a timely manner to assist in shift efficiency whilst using correct operational processes and procedures. Working closely with offsite transport team / external clients ensuring all loads are planned and booked. Collections - Establish load and order volumes, report quantities to the Shift Operations Controller in order for the warehouse to be prepared accordingly. Run load / orders to release work for picking to available Marshall Lanes, working closely with the warehouse operations controllers. Liaise with Operations Controllers to ensure load requirements and customer specific details are completed e.g. Customer specific spreadsheet has been completed, pallets labelled, stacking requirements met. Produce load detail notes for collections, giving the warehouse operative load number/customer to ensure loaded correctly for delivery times. Complete daily reports from an Excel Template. Produce labels for inbound deliveries and accurately label inbound pallets. Report delivery mismatches to the Operations Controller. Report issues with despatch orders to IT ensuring all are resolved on time. Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts. Photocopying, printing, organising and storing documents and computer-based information. This list is not exhaustive and the successful position holder may be required to carry out any task which the Company might reasonably require you to do. Salary: £11.44 per hour (Overtime paid at time and a half rate) Working Hours: Full flexibility required between the hours of 6am and 10pm. Shifts are 8 hours each, with the schedule provided in advance (standard hours usually 7:00am - 3:00pm) Requirements: Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills. Excellent accuracy when recording data. Be able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale. Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year. Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business. Have the ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both GBD and our customer. PC Literate in Word, Excel and Outlook. Should demonstrate the drive and desire to progress. Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns. Report any Safety concerns Follow all safe working procedures and site rules Flexibility to work any 8-hour shift between 6am and 10pm.
