Job Title: Assistant Product Manager

Full Time (37.5 hours per week) flexible, hybrid

Salary: £47,000.00 - £58,700.00 DOE + fantastic benefits
Role Overview
You’ll support the management of a set of existing products through meeting the demands and needs of customers, the business or special projects.
You’ll manage processes and interpret market, customer, and competitive information, to help define future product development and feed across the PPRP annual program and bespoke requirements.
Collaborating with the Consumer Product Manager, you’ll help define strategy and deliver product & process change across the customer journey, from acquisition to retention to deliver consumer growth.
You’ll make a key contribution to the delivery of the consumer business objectives as described in the Product strategy.
What you’ll do:
1. You’ll manage, develop and lead processes focused on identifying a need for change and delivering the change ensuring our products meet customer and business needs.
2. Manage and develop existing processes that are focused on capturing and interpreting customer and business MI.
3. Liaise cross functionally with key stakeholders including Sales, Service, Commercial Finance, IS, Legal.
4. Present requirements and recommendations to various governance groups for approval and authority to proceed to implementation.
5. Assess the process on an ongoing basis, ensuring that it is constantly fit for purpose and take rapid action accordingly.
6. Understand the internal Bupa context and external marketplace and context
7. Understand the end-to-end customer journey through knowledge of the consumer operational areas and processes.
8. Develop and lead existing product development
9. Measure and monitor performance and implement remedial action as needed.
10. Model the expected culture and be responsible for managing risk in your area.
What you’ll bring:
11. Experience of Product Management / Marketing
12. Understanding of Bupa PMI products
13. Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
14. Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with emphasis in achieving results and successful outcomes.
15. Strong analytical and process management skills. Investigative and logical, with attention to detail.
16. Excellent writing and presenting detailed reporting skills.
17. Previous knowledge of PMI products would be advantageous.
18. Understanding and awareness of the marketplace and competitors
19. Strong team player
20. Understanding of the product development processes
