Job Description
We are recruiting a bookkeeper to work for a busy distribution company based in Wednesbury. The Bookkeeper will play a pivotal part in the business. We are looking for someone to work up to 25 hours, over 4 or 5 days.The Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper will be responsible for:" Cash book - including payments and multicurrency transactions" Reconciliations - Bank, Purchase, Sales and Nominal/General ledgers" Journal entries and monthly adjustments" Completion of VAT returns" Month end profit/loss" Ad hoc administration workThe Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper will have the following skills:" Possess excellent communication skills and a flexible forward-thinking approach" Fully proficient in all aspects of bookkeeping" Be a good team player" Ideally have Sage 50 and Xero knowledge" Have a solid understanding of Accounts procedures and month end proceduresIn return the company will provide a competitive salary, a relaxed environment, and a friendly and personable place to work.
