Information Technology is part of Digital Technologies, a fast-growing department responsible for driving digital transformation on the site. You will work with highly dedicated and skilled colleagues focused on ensuring stable, efficient, and compliant IT solutions. We value simplicity and agility in all we do.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be part of the Global IT Support team within the FDB IT Department, collaborating with colleagues to deliver stable, efficient, and compliant IT services.
Your role involves providing world-class IT support by delivering correct solutions in a timely and user-focused manner. You will be responsible for day-to-day IT support for FDB end users’ digital workplaces, proactively enhancing user experience, and minimizing business disruptions.
You will also be tasked with improving service resilience through continuous process and service enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide daily IT support to end users.
2. Respond to end user inquiries via phone, direct contact, and IT service management tools.
3. Manage incident and service request processes using our IT service management platform.
4. Coordinate critical incident responses to minimize business impact.
5. Manage onboarding and offboarding of user devices, resources, and access, including IT introductions.
6. Procure and manage local IT equipment and storage resources.
7. Coordinate with global cross-functional teams to standardize and optimize support efforts.
8. Collaborate with teams to support and improve IT services.
9. Contribute to problem management and IT knowledge sharing.
10. Participate in IT projects based on business needs.
11. Participate in on-call rotations.
Your Qualifications:
1. Strong understanding of end-user peripherals and IT Service Management frameworks.
2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Strong customer service orientation.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8. Minimum of 5 years’ IT support experience, including end-user interaction.
9. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
