Ocean Infinity is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join our Strategy Team. As Strategy Analyst, you will work collaboratively across the organisation to provide analysis and support to the company’s strategic initiatives. The role provides exposure to strategic planning, opportunities to lead small workstreams within larger initiatives, and mentorship from senior strategy team members, supporting growth and career progression within the strategy function. What will you do: The duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Data Analysis : Collect and analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement relevant to the organisation's strategic goals; Business and Market Research : Conduct business and market research and analysis to provide insights for strategic planning; Performance Metrics : Assist in monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the progress of strategic initiatives; Reporting : Prepare reports and presentations that summarise findings, recommendations, and insights for the senior strategy team, leveraging communication and storytelling competencies; Communication & Storytelling : Translate complex data and strategic insights into clear, compelling narratives using visualisation tools and structured communication. Tailor messaging for different audiences, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams; Strategic Projects : Participate in strategic projects and initiatives, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams; Tool Utilisation : Use analytical and strategic planning tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, strategic platforms) to support data-driven decision-making and project execution; Stakeholder Support : Provide ongoing support when engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives; Innovation Research : Assist in identifying innovative trends and technologies that could drive organisational growth; Workshop Facilitation : Support the planning and documentation of strategy workshops and offsites, capturing insights and contributing to the synthesis of outputs to inform strategic decision-making; Project Delivery : Lead or co-lead strategic projects from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities; Performance Monitoring: Define and track KPIs to measure the success of strategic initiatives and recommend course corrections as needed. Who you are: You are a curious, analytical thinker with a passion for solving complex problems and driving meaningful change. You bring a strong academic foundation—typically a degree in business, economics, data science, or a related field—and early-career experience in strategy, consulting, or business analysis. You thrive in collaborative environments, are comfortable working with ambiguity, and have a natural ability to translate data into insights that inform strategic decisions. You’re eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives while growing your strategic capabilities. Qualifications, certifications and experiences: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree desirable); 1–3 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business analysis, or a related analytical role; Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus; Exposure to strategic planning, performance reporting, or business case development; Experience working in cross-functional teams or matrix environments; Good practical experience with office tools: MS Office Suite, Teams, e-mail, and management system platforms. Skills that set you apart from other candidates: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset; Ability to synthesise complex information into clear, actionable insights; Strong communication and storytelling capabilities, especially for senior audiences; Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to learning and growth; High emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement skills; Familiarity with strategic framework; Thoughtful, thorough, and conscientious; Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work; Excellent at time management skills and able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment; A critical thinker and able to show initiative; Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet. Desirable: Familiarity with strategic planning platforms or enterprise performance management tools; Understanding of innovation trends, digital transformation, or emerging technologies. Salary for this position: up to £45,000 per annum Salary : The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
