Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Trials Assistant to support the Oncology Research Teams at both the Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital sites on a fixed-term contract.
In this role you will assist the research teams to deliver commercial and NIHR portfolio studies, providing high‑quality, patient‑centred clinical research. The position includes both patient‑facing and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
You will be involved in all aspects of the research process, including study start‑up, recruitment, delivery, data entry and study close‑out. You will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, implementing studies to translate scientific discoveries into improved patient outcomes.
Qualifications
You do not need previous research experience; all training will be provided. However, clinical skills such as venepuncture and laboratory skills would be advantageous.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are required.
Location
Base location across both UHD sites - Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals.
