A fast-growing delivery first food business is looking to appoint an Operations Director as it enters its next phase of expansion. The company operates a portfolio of virtual food brands through more than 50 partner sites across the UK and helps operators unlock new revenue by maximising unused kitchen capacity.This role suits someone who enjoys building teams, elevating standards and creating operational discipline within a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment. The foundations are strong, and demand is growing but the business needs a leader who can take operational performance to the next level.The RoleThe Operations Director will lead and develop the Regional Operations team and shape the operational framework for the entire partner network. You will introduce structure, expectations and support that allow sites to deliver consistent brand standards and strong commercial outcomes. This role combines hands on coaching with strategic leadership and will have a major influence on how the organisation scales.Key Areas of ResponsibilityLeadership and Capability• Develop a growing team of Regional Operations Managers and embed clear expectations • Create a performance culture built on accountability, communication and ownership • Introduce structured training, development pathways and consistent field rhythmsOperational Excellence• Take responsibility for operational delivery across more than 50 partner locations • Improve consistency in food quality, execution and customer experience • Drive performance across speed, accuracy, waste, compliance and ratings • Implement clear visit structures, audits, reporting and follow upPartner Engagement• Build strong relationships with partner operators and provide clear coaching and guidance • Improve partner understanding of delivery focused operations and KPI management • Set expectations confidently, even where experience variesCross Functional Collaboration• Work closely with Product, Data, Marketing and the central production team to support new launches and ongoing execution • Translate data into actionable insight that can be used in the field • Support onboarding and ensure new sites achieve strong early performanceStructure and Systems• Build a scalable operational framework suitable for a multi brand virtual model • Introduce clarity around communication, reporting and escalation • Bring predictability and organisation to a previously reactive environmentWhat You Bring• Experience leading multi-site operations within QSR, franchise or delivery focused environments • Proven ability to develop field teams into high performers • Strong commercial and data fluency • A hands on leadership style with a consistent field presence • The confidence to influence partners and guide them through operational change • Exceptional communication and organisational discipline • The ability to bring structure to complexity and create scalable frameworks
