EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting a skilled CNC Grinder to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working permanently.
Please note, due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents; we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

* Days: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday!

* Overtime is available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays)

Your responsibilities include:
* As a CNC Grinder, the successful individual will be setting and operating CNC Cylindrical Grinding machines using Fanuc controls.
You will be working with state-of-the-art, modern machinery in a busy and challenging environment
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
* Previous CNC Grinding experience - Cylindrical
* Experience using Jones and Shipman Ultramats, Kellenberger or Okomoto experience would be preferable.
* Ability to set and operate CNC Grinding machines using Fanuc controls
* Confident performing multiple setups per day
* Worked on small to medium-sized components
* Adhered to high standards and tight tolerances
* Capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Work well on their own or within a team
