About the Role
We’re James & Ella, a happiness & wellbeing company for dogs, founded by James Middleton.
We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and creative individual to support our Founder in both content production and daily business operations. You’ll play a vital role in helping bring James & Ella to life through video and photo content, while also ensuring our Founder stays on top of his busy schedule, priorities, and commitments.
This is a role for someone who loves variety: one moment you’ll be note-taking high-level meetings, and the next you’ll be filming our Founder with his dogs for social content. A passion for people, events, and dogs is a must!
Key Responsibilities
Creative Production (Primary Focus)
* Plan, produce, and execute engaging content featuring Founder, products, and brand stories, liaising directly with our Founder and Head of Marketing
* Manage creative projects end-to-end (scripting, storyboarding, filming, photography)
* Maintain and organise digital content libraries for Head of Marketing
Executive Support
* Manage and optimise Founder’s daily schedule and priorities
* Assist with communication follow-up and task tracking
* Organise key meetings and prep materials
Operations & Travel Coordination
* Plan logistics for company away days, events, and team gatherings
* Research and book accommodation, travel, and venue options
* Provide on-the-ground support when required
People & Culture Support
* Assist with internal communication and morale-boosting initiatives
* Support onboarding of new team members
* Help organise team engagement activities and recognition programs
What We’re Looking For
* Exceptionally organised: thrives in managing multiple moving parts
* Creatively driven: skilled in video and photo creation, particularly CapCut or Premiere Pro
* Social media-savvy: Keeps up to date with trends and can spot them early
* Self-starter: anticipates needs and takes initiative
* Dog-friendly: comfortable filming, working around, and occasionally caring for dogs on set
* Strong communication skills and a positive, problem-solving mindset
* Experience in executive support, content creation, or operations is a big plus
Nice-to-Haves
* Project management or creative production tools
* People Ops interest/experience
* Experience with user-generated content or influencer management
Role Structure
* Full-time (or strong part-time depending on candidate)
* Based in Oxford or Reading, primarily remote but travel to Berkshire as needed for content days
* Reports directly to the Founder
* Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on experience
