Training and Technical Support (Training Coordinator) – Green Flag
Hybrid Working: You'll work at our Technical Centre and occasionally from home. You will be required to carry out 2-week blocks of training on site at the Technical Centre.

What You’ll Do
Reporting into the Technical Trainer and supporting the Health and Safety Manager, you will:
1. Assist the Technical Trainer in delivering comprehensive training for newly appointed patrols during their induction and support existing patrols in expanding their technical expertise, including the latest advancements in vehicle technology.
2. Conduct training assessments to identify development needs and provide targeted support.
3. Deliver hands-on technical training in real-world environments, perform technical assessments and interviews for potential new patrols, and carry out health and safety vehicle audits.
4. Support the business to manage compliance on LOLER and Calibration inspections.
5. Complete administrative duties, monitor learners’ progress, and identify training needs.
6. Liaise with admin to confirm the ordering of tools, equipment, and uniforms. Hand out new kits to patrols.
7. Ensure all training documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
8. Maintain the training venue at Stechford for training sessions.
9. Be onsite for any training deliveries as scheduled.
10. Manage van audits, including LOLER inspections and manual handling observations.
11. Liaise with Team Leaders and inspection companies to manage calibration of tools and equipment, and handle data portals related to inspections.
12. Coordinate with lead patrols on issues and arrange for tool and equipment replacements or repairs.
13. Oversee the vehicle decommissioning process and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. When you work in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office.
What You’ll Need
* Technical Knowledge – NVQ Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicles (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of car mechanics and vehicle technology.
* Roadside Experience – Preferred but not essential; experience in vehicle repair or recovery roles is beneficial.
* Health & Safety Awareness – Understanding of H&S regulations; formal qualifications are preferred but not required. Ability to ensure best practices in training and assessments.
* Attention to Detail – Ensuring documentation, safety checks, and training processes are completed accurately.
* Organisational Skills – Managing training documentation, monitoring learner progress, and maintaining records of tools and equipment.
