Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate General Practitioner with an Extended Role in ADHD to join our Adult Community Services at HCRG Care Group. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating adults with ADHD and related neurodevelopmental conditions, providing medication management and working alongside a multidisciplinary team. The position is based at St Martin’s Hospital, offers a hybrid model with virtual or telephone clinics, and is a 15‑hour per week contract with a pro‑rated salary of £61,542 to £99,216 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular face‑to‑face and telephone clinics for adults presenting with neurodevelopmental difficulties such as ADHD and ASD.
* Deliver community clinics and provide expert clinical guidance following established referral criteria.
* Prescribe and manage ADHD medication, ensuring ongoing assessment and review.
* Maintain up‑to‑date clinical records on SystmOne and undertake related administrative duties.
* Participate in regular supervision, liaison and communication with other clinicians and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
* Communicate effectively with service users and families, making care plans accessible and understandable.

* Salary: £76,038 to £114,743 per annum, pro‑rated to 15 hours per week.

Ideal Candidate
* Full GMC registration and a UK‑recognised medical degree.
* Experience managing ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
* Qualified prescriber of medication for ADHD.
* Experience working with adults in a clinical setting.
* Knowledge of risk management, safeguarding and clinical governance.
* Strong communication and collaborative skills.
* Proficient in managing clinical records, including SystmOne.
Desirable
* Membership of a relevant Royal College (e.g., MRCP).
* Experience in adult mental health or neurodevelopmental conditions.
* Involvement in research projects, publications or clinical audits.
* Additional training in neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly ADHD.
* Commitment to continuous professional development, including teaching and learning.
Requirements
* Full GMC registration.
* UK‑recognised medical degree and license to practice.
* Qualified prescriber of medication for ADHD.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
