Michael Page are delighted to partner with a multi-site organisation to appoint for a Training Manager to join a busy HR team.
This role can offer hybrid working - circa 4 days onsite and 1 home
The role will be Nottingham based with occasional travel (circa 1/month to other sites UK wide)
Description
Reporting to a Head of HR and working closely with both operational and HR stakeholders, the role of Training Manager will take full responsibility for the full L&D life-cycle for a wide range of industrial/front-line stakeholders.
You will be responsible for all operational, technical, compliance training including health & safety as well as management and leadership development.
This busy and varied role will include but not limited to:
Develop a training strategy aligned to safety, legal compliance, operational performance, customer service and growth.
Maintain the company training matrix
Work with operations, SHEQ, HR and functional leaders to establish training needs
Maintain accurate training records to support with workforce planning and succession planning
Set role-based competence standards and practical sign-off for critical roles
Strengthen on-boarding training programs
Measure and evaluate training impacts
Design and deliver management and leadership training
Lead early careers activity, including apprenticeships, vocational pathways and provider relationships Profile
Ideal applicants for this role will have proven experiences in a similar Training Manager/L&D role within a relevant industrial sector such as manufacturing/logistics or other operational/industrial/high-risk settings
Job Offer
Competitive salary up to £55000 pa
Car Allowance circa £4800 pa
Bonus up to 10%
