Overview
We are recruiting a Design Manager for a national contractor based in their regional office in Bristol. The contractor is one of the largest in the UK, a family‑run, profitable business with secured future workload and cash in the bank. They operate across education, student and BTR, retail and leisure, mixed‑use development, office marketplaces and their schemes range from £30 million to £150 million in value.
Responsibilities
* Work on schemes from bid stages through to detailed 2nd stage, then to site, helping build and deliver each project – full life cycle.
* Bid, win, 2nd stage, and take projects to site and deliver them.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to secure successful outcomes for the organization.
Qualifications
* Experienced Design Manager or ambitious Design Coordinators ready to step up.
* Chartered status is an advantage; non‑chartered candidates will receive external training to meet building safety act requirements.
* Eligible to live and work in the UK.
