What you can expect in a Learner Recruitment Officer role at althaus:
* Identifying and engaging with job centres, faith groups, and community organisations to recruit learners to Althaus’ courses, across a certain region.
* Hosting information days and providing a personalised service to referral partners, ensuring potential learners receive exceptional information and guidance.
* Collaborating closely with the Head of Learner Engagement to develop and implement community engagement strategies specific to your region.
* Working alongside the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns, utilising social media platforms to raise awareness and attract learners.
* Providing consultative advice to manage learner needs and expectations, ensuring they are enrolled in the most suitable course based on eligibility criteria.
* Collaborating with colleagues in community engagement and learner recruitment to achieve department targets and contribute to Althaus’ strategic goals.
* Ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintenance of databases and CRM systems.
* Keeping up to date with changes and developments within funding rules, staying informed about Althaus Digital’s products and services.
* Utilising various communication platforms to generate engagement opportunities and promote Althaus Digital at learner recruitment events.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role…
* Previous experience in community engagement, learner recruitment/ attraction, or a related field.
* Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring administrative duties and data management are accurate and up to date.
* Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and contribute to the team’s success.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide consultative advice and present information effectively.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing campaigns.
* A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with the aspiration to obtain a CIAG qualification within six months of employment (if not already attained).
* A full driving licence with access to own vehicle is essential.

Please note: This role is offered as a fixed-term contract of six months to begin with. It’s also a hybrid role and will require travel to the Derby HQ throughout the week.
What To Expect During The Interview Process
We want to ensure you’re the right fit for us, and that we’re the right fit for you! Our process is designed to be relaxed yet insightful:
Stage 1: A 30-minute Teams call with our Head of Learner Engagement – this is all about fit and feel.
Stage 2: An in-person interview at our office with our Community Team and panel. This stage will also include a fun and interactive interview activity to showcase your skills in action.
