CUSTOMER SERVICE CO-ORDINATOR
Reporting To: Customer Service Manager
Location: Office based
Role Summary
Working within a highly motivated sales office environment that is highly focused on delivering exceptional levels of customer service, the successful candidate will quickly become a fundamental part of an already existing group of 4 colleagues.
With experience of having already worked within a similar environment and delivering exceptional customer service, you will be responsible for a range of customers within the UK as well as in overseas territories and will therefore have logistics experience in both UK and export shipping requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing of sales orders of both UK & Export customer origin through our business ERP software platform “KAPS”
* Expediting of orders and maintaining of acknowledged availability dates
* Responding to and managing customer requests for improved expediency or amendments to orders
* Correction of customer orders and understanding of customer order requirements prior to order entry to ensure orders are loaded correctly first time, every time.
* Interaction with other colleagues and departments to meet delivery expectations including Manufacturing Operations, Purchasing and Despatch.
* Achieving tight deadlines for despatch and invoicing during and at end of month.
* Making and receiving telephone calls relating to customer orders, enquiries alongside general internal and incoming calls.
* Raising of commercial invoices and despatch documents for UK and Export shipments
* Taking & processing of payments

Candidate Profile
You should have substantial experience in customer service delivery with a proven track record in exceeding customer expectations.
You should be confident in all forms of customer engagement, managing customer queries, and identifying customer requirements.
In particular, you are likely to possess the following skills:
* Use of Microsoft software including Excel & Word
* Professional telephone manner
* Working to tight deadlines
* Excellent Time Management including forward thinking & problem solving
* Good communication skills
