Position Overview
The Brand Home Manager will grow the Strathisla Brand Home business and manage staff, deliver premium whisky experiences, drive financial performance and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Brand Home team: daily supervision, recruitment, training program, rota planning, payroll liaison and weekly reporting to the Scotland‑based Prestige Hospitality Manager.
* Design and deliver premium whisky experiences: create a unique, high‑end product range; implement immersive guest experiences; coordinate online booking (CBL) and trade/senior‑management visits; support shop operations, welcome guests, conduct tastings and guided tours; host VIP and HNW visits; maintain consistent operational support for The Vault and related activities.
* Drive growth and financial performance: set annual KPIs with the Brand Home finance team and the Prestige Hospitality Manager, review and adapt KPIs quarterly, develop a yearly promotional plan (online and in‑shop) supported by newsletters, launch new products, conduct revenue‑generation activities, optimise tourism and visitor numbers, analyse P&L and control costs.
* Ensure operational excellence: collect visitor data for sales conversion, monitor stock levels, manage cash float, maintain premises operations under a personal licence, train staff on licensing laws, administer Health and Safety records, comply with Food Hygiene standards, and maintain high operational standards.
Qualifications
* Entrepreneurial mindset with experience managing projects and adapting to changing circumstances.
* Business acumen: planning, organising, KPI analysis, budgeting and cost control.
* Retail and merchandising knowledge, with experience in stock purchase/control.
* Marketing and digital skills: social media, digital environment, content creation, brand strategy understanding.
* People management: recruitment, development support, ability to work unsocial hours including weekends.
* PC literacy, strong office/admin skills.
* Valid driving licence.
