Painter and Decorator - London - Days - £22p/h - Ongoing contract
We are currently looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our clients Facilities department at their high end commercial premises in South Kensington
As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for the decorative upkeep of all communal and landlord areas, and occasional re-décor projects within the tenant's apartments. You will carry out all planned and reactive painting/decorating work in order to retain the upkeep of the building.
The main duties of the role are: ...
· Carry out site-wide reactive and planned decorative maintenance in accordance with the demands of the Facilities department
· Carry out planned maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with the condition of the site
· Order and control all related consumables and equipment to carry out decoration work
· Assist with the Facilities maintenance team in continual improvement initiatives
· Provide support to the Facilities department when and where required
To be effective in this role, you will have knowledge of safe working practises e.g. working safely within set guidelines, have previous experience of working as a Painter/Decorator and experience in all manners of decorating tasks.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
