We are recruiting Delivery & Collection Drivers on behalf of our client, based in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering new vehicles to customers’ homes across the UK. Please note: Due to the nature of this role, hours are not guaranteed. Work is offered on an ad-hoc basis depending on requirements, so flexibility is therefore essential.
The Role:
1. Deliver and hand over new vehicles to customer driveways across the UK, ensuring a first-class experience.
2. Use public transport to return to the site after deliveries (expenses covered or reimbursed).
3. Collecting vehicles and returning them to site.
4. Demonstrate vehicle features to customers, including electric vehicles.
5. Check vehicles in and out using company-provided apps on a Samsung tablet.
6. Work safely and in line with company guidelines at all times.
The Person:
7. A minimum of 2 years’ driving experience and a clean driving record (no more than 6 points for minor offences).
8. Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes).
9. Confident driving cars and vans, including both manual and automatic transmissions.
10. Excellent customer service skills, with experience in retail, hospitality, or automotive being advantageous.
11. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
12. Confident using handheld technology.
13. Comfortable demonstrating vehicle features to customers.
14. A friendly, can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
15. Skilled, safe, and confident driver.
