Senior IT Project Manager (Applications Focused)
Hybrid Working – 2x a week onsite needed (London based)
Up to £625 per day (Inside IR35)
Spencer Rose are currently partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation who are currently on the lookout for a Senior IT Project Manager (Applications Focused) on a contract basis initially for 6-months (possibility of extension). The successful Senior IT Project Manager will enter the business and operate within a Waterfall environment and bring previous experience with software and applications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SaaS providers, managing the customisation and onboarding of new applications and tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Maintain project objectives and set expectations for project teams.
* Lead project meetings and drive progress according to project milestones.
* Manage day-to-day project activities across multiple functional groups.
* Manage stakeholders at all levels of the corporation.
* Identify, monitor, report and coordinate issues and risks remediation.
The Ideal Candidate
* Must have previously worked within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance.
* Must have previous experience as a PM managing SaaS implementations.
* Must have previously worked within a Waterfall environment.
* Must have experience in managing projects through the SDLC.
* Must have strong process mapping/implementation knowledge.
