What you'll be doing...
As an Airport Lounge Breakfast Chef you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role and will be an integral member of the team
Cooking buffet style breakfast to a consistently high standard and maintaining excellent stock levels for the customers
Ensure the kitchen and service area are always clean and the main buffet area is kept in good order and presentable for the customer
Keep up to date with menus and what food is on offer and maintain the bookwork and relevant company paperwork
Offer a warm and friendly service
Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed
Working Pattern: The shift pattern for this role will be 03:00am until 11:30am 5 days out of 7. There will also be the occasional later shift as the business requires
Shift patterns will be 8 hours with a half an hour unpaid lunch break and there will always be a 11.5 hour gap between shifts to allow for suitable rest
What can you bring? Possess a passion for food and making sure the high standards of the company are met at all times
A stable 5 year working history due to the security clearance levels needed
A track record of being punctual and reliable and having an excellent attendance record
Genuine interest in customer service excellence
An integral part of the team that stays calm under pressure and thrives during busy periods
Previous catering experience
Due to security checks required for this role, all candidates will be subject to a basic criminal record check and must be able to provide a continuous five-year checkable work history with verified gaps in employment.
Full details and dates of all periods of employment/unemployment/education must be provided for the previous five years
