Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and test mechanical components and mechanisms for aerospace and defence applications.
* Conduct structural and thermal analyses, including Finite Element (FE) modeling, to ensure performance and compliance with industry standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and systems engineering.
* Support prototyping, testing, and practical assembly of mechanical systems and mechanisms.
* Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
1. Candidate Requirements:
* Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
* Demonstrated experience working in highly regulated environments, ideally in aerospace or space sectors.
* Strong understanding of structural and/or thermal analysis and FE modeling.
* Proficient in mechanical design software (CAD) and analysis tools for structural, thermal, and mathematical modeling.
* Familiarity with one or more of the following: gears, motors, or mechanisms.
* Practical experience in building and testing mechanical systems and mechanisms.
* Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
