Overview
We are looking for someone with food product development experience, ideally in licensing, and experience working in brand partnerships. The role involves being an integral part of the EMEA PDC team, covering all food and beverage product development aspects of the CP business across local markets. Collaboration with the brand partnerships team on cross-functional F&B initiatives is also expected.
Responsibilities
* Manage freelancers and outside agencies in developing creative tools such as mood boards, product mock-ups, and other materials to guide the creative direction of products from infant to adult.
* Partner with licensees to drive innovation, providing feedback from concept to final product approval, ensuring brand vision, design quality, and product integrity.
* Manage and maintain product approvals efficiently through the internal product approval system.
* Build and maintain close relationships with cross-functional teams like Licensing, MSD, and Retail Marketing to support the overall brand vision.
* Align with key stakeholders across content creators, brand partnerships, BLA, creative marketing, and regional marketing teams to maximize strategic impact.
Experience & Skills
* 8+ years of experience directing creative vision for food and beverage product development, with a focus on vertical or entertainment/licensed brands or retail.
* A strong desire to innovate and think outside the box, exercising storytelling and joy through creative execution and product development.
* Ongoing knowledge of F&B trends and NPD, with the ability to apply this knowledge to direct brand vision and create compelling products.
* Understanding of the competitive brand landscape and European retail environment.
* Effective communication skills for collaborating with contractors and agencies on creative projects.
* Excellent verbal and digital communication skills.
* Strong project and time management abilities.
* Multilingual skills are advantageous.
* Regional experience in EMEA.
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
