Where Will I Be Working?
You will be based in our welcoming service in Garlinge, where we provide a 24-hour supported living facility for adults with Learning Disabilities. Our tailored support helps individuals achieve greater independence in their lives.
In this vibrant environment, you will support 8 individuals with diverse communication, mobility, and health needs, all living in their own purpose-built flats. You’ll be part of a dedicated team, matched with residents based on shared interests and personalities.
Conveniently located near a local bus route, our service is easily accessible for those using public transport.
Shift Patterns
As this is a 24-hour service, flexibility is key! You will work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
Your Role and Responsibilities
What Will I Be Doing?
This hands-on role offers variety every day! Your responsibilities will include:
* Promoting the independence of the individuals we support
* Assisting with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and planning outings
* Organizing engaging activities both at home and in the local community
* Helping residents develop life skills and pursue personal interests
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
* Providing personal care as needed
* Conducting manual handling tasks
* Supporting medication management
* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service monitoring
