Where Will I Be Working?
You will be based in our vibrant service in Garlinge, where we provide a 24-hour supported living facility for adults with Learning Disabilities. Our tailored support helps individuals achieve greater independence.
In this location, we support 8 individuals with a mix of learning and physical disabilities, all living in their own purpose-built flats. You will be part of a dedicated team, matched with residents based on shared interests and personalities, creating a personalized support experience.
Our environment is lively and active, catering to a variety of communication, mobility, and health needs. Plus, a local bus route is conveniently located right across the street for easy access.
Shift Patterns
As this is a 24-hour service, flexibility is key! You will work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
Your Role and Responsibilities
What Will I Be Doing?
This hands-on role means no two days will be the same! Your responsibilities will include:
* Promoting independence for the individuals we support
* Assisting with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and outings
* Organizing engaging activities in the home and local community
* Helping residents develop life skills and pursue personal interests
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
* Providing personal care as needed
* Conducting manual handling tasks
* Supporting medication management
* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service monitoring

While experience with learning disabilities and complex needs is a plus, it’s not a requirement. What truly matters is that you are:
