The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well‑established engineering company in Atherstone. This role is within the manufacturing industry, offering a late shift pattern, competitive pay, and long‑term stability.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer to secure ongoing work in Atherstone, working on a variety of precision‑engineered components.
Key Responsibilities
* Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain)
* Working with universal bed‑type milling machines and heads
* Machining components from stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Producing parts to tight tolerances and specifications
* Completing your own quality inspections
* Safely using overhead cranes where required
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer
* Experience with Heidenhain control systems
* Background working with medium to large fabrications and castings
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
