Cover supervisor- secondary school

Are you a confident and capable individual with a passion for education? Reed Education is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work on an ad-hoc basis across a variety of secondary schools in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a strong classroom presence and a flexible approach to teaching and learning.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining classroom discipline in the absence of the regular teacher. You will be expected to:

* Supervise whole classes across a range of subjects and year groups
* Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged with their learning
* Manage behaviour effectively and uphold school policies
* Adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching styles
Requirements:
* A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar educational role
* Educated to degree level as a minimum requirement
* Excellent behavioural management skills
* Ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff
* A forward-thinking attitude and the ability to think on your feet
* Confidence in managing a classroom independently
