Sacco Mann are recruiting for a top national law firm to join their successful Risk & Compliance team in their Leeds offices. Our client is one of the UK's leading law practices and offer services to both the commercial and private clients across a wide range of areas.
The Role
You will be working under the Risk & Compliance director in a varied role, identifying, and assessing risks across the firms' operations, assisting to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure that the firm complies with laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Answering risk and compliance questions.
* Drafting policies and procedures with clear and accurate drafting.
* Preparing and presenting training on SRA regulatory issues.
* Conducting file reviews.
* Analysing compliance data.
About You
* Previous Risk & Compliance Manager experience including having worked in a SRA regulated firm.
* Good knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations
* Strong team player
* Ability to work to your own initiative.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritise and deliver work to a consistently high standard and to deadlines.
