Working in our properties across the North East
Permanent,fu ll time (37.5 hpw Monday to Friday, with on call on a rota basis)
Salary £33,433 per annum plus van, generous on call allowance and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as a Painter and Decorator
* As multi skilled Painter and Decorator, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.
* Decorating works across repairs, maintenance and property refurbishments.
* Delivering high-quality and compliant work.
* Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes.
* Working in our properties across the North East. All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.

You have
* City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in painting and decorating or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating work within a maintenance environment.
* Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled).
* A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.
* A full current driving licence as you’ll be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

Job details
* Working Monday to Friday, you’ll also be asked to take part in our out of hours service on a rota with colleagues with an additional generous on call payment.
* You’ll work across our properties in the North East.Our office base is in Belmont, Durham.
* You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
* You’ll need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
