Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located on the route between Llandysul and New Quay/Aberaeron for a Head Chef. The Head Chef will be responsible for creating and updating menus, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, and maintaining health and safety regulations. Other daily tasks include inventory management, ordering supplies, controlling costs, and training and mentoring junior chefs. The Head Chef will collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
* Experience in leadership roles such as managing kitchen staff and training junior chefs
* Skills in menu creation, food presentation, and ensuring food quality standards
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
* Competence in inventory management and cost control
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
* Formal culinary training or relevant certification is a plus
