Job Title: Unified Communications (UC) Support EngineerLocation: TelfordSalary: £26,000 per annum + Quarterly KPI Bonus
Are you passionate about technology and customer service?Do you have experience in telecoms, networking or Unified Communications and enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving?We're looking for a motivated Unified Communications Support Engineer to join our support team in Telford.
What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver high-quality technical support to business customers via phone, email, and remote tools
* Assist with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of business internet and hosted telephony systems
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to call quality, system configuration, registration failures, and hardware/software problems
* Provide guidance on standard procedures and escalate more complex issues to senior engineers
* Proactively suggest improvements to support tools, documentation, and processes
What You'll Need
* 1-3 years of technical support experience (preferably within telecoms or UC environments)
* knowledge of hosted telephony, IP networking, and connectivity (e.g. routers, VoIP)
* Familiarity with UC platforms such as Gamma Horizon, Cisco Webex, iPECS, or similar
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to simplify technical concepts
* Experience using helpdesk/ticketing systems
* A collaborative, customer-first attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
