Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients on-site. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
2 roles available 1 based in Didcot covering South of the UK, 1 based in Barnsley covering North of UK
Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site inspections, maintenance, and repairs of equipment as required.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.
* Provide training and support to clients on the proper use of equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product quality and service processes.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all service activities.
* Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar position is advantageous.
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel frequently to client sites as required.
* A valid driving licence is necessary for this role.
* Ability to work overtime and weekends.
* Ability to work away from home for multiple days at a time.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
