Duties of a Van Service Technician
* Carry out detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vans across various brands to high standards
* Follow manufacturer repair procedures and accurately complete job cards
* Remove and refit parts efficiently across multiple vehicle types
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, applying problem‑solving skills
* Perform safety checks and detailed mechanical inspections on incoming vehicles
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to health and safety regulations
* Complete all repair work within specified timeframes and quality standards
* Support team members and contribute to a constructive work environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Van Service Technician or similar role within the automotive industry
* Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Adaptability to fast‑paced work environments and changing priorities
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations
* Willingness to undertake MOT testing qualification if not already qualified
* Flexibility to work early or late shifts as required
