About the Role:
You will plan and deliver engaging Health & Social Care lessons, support students across a range of abilities, and encourage the development of empathy, communication skills, and professional awareness. You will help create a positive learning environment where every student feels motivated and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
* High-Quality Teaching: Deliver structured Health & Social Care lessons aligned with the curriculum.
* Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
* Assessment & Feedback: Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Curriculum Development: Contribute to enhancing Health & Social Care teaching materials.
* Collaborative Working: Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies.
To succeed as a Teacher of Health & Social Care, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant specialist teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Health & Social Care.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
* A passion for inspiring young people and promoting positive outcomes.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
