Job Title: Occupational Therapy Team Manager / Principal Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to lead our Occupational Therapy service. The role involves supporting service users in developing skills for independent living.
Applicants should have management experience within teams serving individuals with care and support needs in statutory services. A background in promoting social justice, self-determination, and supporting personal resilience is essential. An Occupational Therapy qualification and professional registration are required.
Our service emphasizes safeguarding, capacity building, and a strengths-based culture with continuous improvement. The successful candidate will embody these values.
The role includes acting as the Principal Occupational Therapist for Derby City Council, collaborating with partner agencies across sectors, advising on practice reform, implementing policies, and leading professional development in line with RCOT and HCPC standards.
