Duties
* Conduct vehicle diagnostics using state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic equipment
* Perform mechanical repairs and electrical fault‑finding tasks
* Carry out MOT testing (MOT tester qualification preferred)
* Diagnose complex vehicle issues across a variety of brands, specialising in certain vehicle makes
* Ensure all work is completed to high standards within set timeframes
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work undertaken
* Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
* MOT tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
* Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
* Well‑organised and tidy work ethic
* Willingness to undertake additional training in hybrid and electric vehicle systems
* Experience working in a fast‑paced workshop environment
