Old Mill Surgery is delighted to invite applications from enthusiastic, motivated GPs who are seeking a longterm locum position with a view to salaried subject to ongoing funding and genuine future development with partnership potential.
Following the announcement of Core Investment in Primary Care, we are expanding our GP team to improve patient access and support sustainable GP workloads in line with BMA Workload Guidance. With further funding increases planned in Year 2 and Year 3, this role has been created with a clear intention to increase sessions over time and progress towards a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
We are a wellestablished, friendly and forwardthinking training practice based in Viewpark Health Centre, Uddingston. The surgery benefits from an onsite treatment room and ample free parking. The practice is led by four supportive and collaborative partners, supported by two parttime salaried GPs, two Practice Nurses, and an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner, alongside a knowledgeable, welcoming administrative team and a proactive, approachable Practice Manager.

We are seeking a GP who is committed to delivering a high standard of patientcentred care, enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team, and is motivated by opportunities for longterm development.
Our multidisciplinary team includes a Practice Pharmacist, Community Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Financial Welfare Officer and Community Support Worker, all based on site and adding significant value to the services we provide.
The practice uses Vision, Docman and Accurx, with robust clinical and administrative systems in place to support efficient working.
