FCRMS Asset Management Business Systems Team Senior Advisor - 32232

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Advisor to support the Asset Management Business Systems Team (AMBST) in delivering and maintaining the carbon management tools that support our Net Zero Carbon objective. The role involves engaging with internal and external users, managing services, and driving digital improvements to our carbon tools.


Key Responsibilities

* Support EA and external users of operational carbon tools.
* Manage and deliver a range of services for users of carbon tools.
* Agree and maintain services with a range of user groups.
* Act as a senior product user for digital improvement projects of our carbon tools and data.
* Plan and manage user activities during implementation of carbon tool changes and improvements.
* Manage resources and funding for carbon tool support and maintenance.
* Collaborate with operational carbon communities and national leads as required.
* Work with IT suppliers and cross‑functional EA colleagues, including teams in FCRM, Operations, DDTS, local authorities, water companies, internal drainage boards, and the civil engineering supply chain.


Team

AMBST is part of the Digital, Data and Evidence team and manages several Asset Management IT systems such as AIMS PD PoL, PAFs, RMA Portal, FastDraft, Co‑Space, Asite (BIM Document Management) and SBMT. We provide system administration, user support and advisory roles on IT projects to ensure improvements enable efficient asset management outcomes.


Experience / Skills Required

* Significant experience and knowledge in carbon management for infrastructure assets, projects or programmes.
* Experience in asset management and/or infrastructure business processes.
* Experience in digital tool development or user implementation services.
* Experience in developing training and documentation.
* Knowledge and skills in stakeholder engagement and effective communication.
* Ability to identify, analyse, evaluate, and implement improved ways of working.
* Ability to make decisions and solve complex business problems.
* Strong focus on efficiency, innovation, and quality.
* Strong focus on customers and partners and ability to build and sustain relationships.
* Capacity to manage yourself and work independently.


Contact and Additional Information

The role is predominantly office‑based, but travel will be required occasionally. Any location for your office base is acceptable. All new staff must undergo training and may be asked to participate in incident response. Fully funded opportunities exist for further academic or professional qualification development. Interviews will be scheduled from the week commencing 1 December 2025.
