I’m currently working with one of my top clients, a leading retailer who are looking to appoint a Marketing Manager to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing brands to life through events, partnerships, and creative activations. You’ll play a key role in delivering a range of brand experiences, sponsorships, and integrated campaigns designed to drive awareness, engagement, and footfall.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to manage and develop junior team members, helping to guide delivery, improve processes, and support the wider growth of the marketing function.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the planning and delivery of a full calendar of brand events, activations, sponsorships, and experiential campaigns
• Supporting and delivering trade shows, retail events, product launches, and seasonal promotional activity
• Managing end-to-end event execution including venues, suppliers, timelines, logistics, and budgets
• Line managing and mentoring junior team members, supporting their development and day-to-day output
• Collaborating closely with internal teams across marketing, ecommerce, trading, and commercial to ensure campaigns are fully aligned
• Coordinating sponsorship partnerships and ensuring strong, consistent brand presence across all activations
• Briefing and managing external agencies, creative partners, suppliers, and production teams
• Supporting the promotion of events and activations across digital channels and wider marketing campaigns
• Measuring and analysing event and campaign performance, reporting on engagement, attendance, ROI, and overall impact
• Continuously developing new and innovative ideas to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
Ideal background:
• Experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive role with exposure to events, brand activation, or experiential marketing
• Proven experience delivering events, sponsorships, or integrated marketing campaigns
• Previous or current experience managing or mentoring team members
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously
• A creative and proactive mindset with the ability to generate ideas and bring concepts to life
• Confident working with internal stakeholders, external partners, agencies, and suppliers
• Background within retail, consumer brands, lifestyle brands, or events agencies would be highly advantageous
