We are currently looking for an experienced Tutor/Coach to join our growing apprenticeship delivery team. If you have experience delivering training in Business Admin, Management or Customer Service apprenticeship standards or you have sufficient vocational experience and a passion for education, we want to hear from you!
Role Responsibilities:
As a tutor/coach in one of these areas, your duties will include:
* Providing inspirational teaching and assessment within the learner’s workplace, classroom based or remotely on zoom.
* Motivating students and promoting satisfaction, contributing to the successful completion of their apprenticeship standard
* Developing and implementing engaging teaching, learning, and assessment plans
* Building strong relationships with employers and learners promoting business success
* Offering timely, valuable, and insightful feedback to learners to aid in their development.
* Organising your workload effectively ensuring delivery is within the given timescales
* Promoting the full range of training, consultancy and business support we provide
* Exceeding quality standards for teaching, learning, and assessment practices.
* Contributing to the development of teaching resources to effectively support learners.
* Conducting tripartite reviews with learners and employers maintaining effective communication between all parties
* Maintaining accurate training records and monitoring learner progress using our e-portfolio system (Onefile) and monthly reports.
* Supporting individual learner needs and implementing effective strategies for learner success.
* Providing information, advice, and guidance to learners and prospective learners.
* Attending our company training days ensuring continuous professional development
* Sharing best practices and support to colleagues through team meetings
* Maintaining an awareness of ESFA and Ofsted requirements
* Actively promote safeguarding of all learners.
Education & Qualifications:
Essential
* Be occupationally competent or have recent relevant experience in a number of the specific teaching areas
Desirable
* Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE/ Cert Ed or equivalent
* Hold a Level 4 TAQA qualification or equivalent
* A&V Awards (or equivalent Assessor/ Verifier qualifications)
* Degree in a related subject or relevant occupational experience
* Level 2 or equivalent in Math's and English

* Willing to complete external work placement visits
Other:
* Possess a current driving licence
* Willing to travel/occasional overnight stays (expenses covered)
* Willing to apply for Disclosure and Barring Service clearance at Enhanced level
This position is likely to involve working with young and vulnerable people and is therefore exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If selected for interview, applicants will be given the opportunity to provide information on any previous convictions including those, which, in other circumstances, would be thought of as spent. Any information will be kept confidential, will only be disclosed to relevant and sufficiently senior parties and may not necessarily prevent a person undertaking the role. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which must be renewed every five years.
