Overview
We are a global technology company that pioneers in every industry. Our Fulfillment Centers handle vast inventory from inbound to outbound, ensuring customers receive products on time while continuously improving workflows. We are looking for an organized and proactive General Manager’s Assistant to support the site’s General Manager and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and organize onsite employee engagement events, including competitions, celebrations, handouts, and associated budgets and deadlines.
* Plan events per site needs, create posters and campaigns, and collaborate with stakeholders on project implementation.
* Manage communication channels across the Fulfillment Center, such as newsletters, corporate communications, site‑specific message boards, and feedback channels.
* Serve as the site Charity Champion, coordinating the charity budget and working with central teams to embed network initiatives alongside local donations.
* Oversee network recognition programs, driving participation from leadership and associates.
* Lead travel and administrative coordination for the leadership team, including diary management and action‑item follow‑up on the General Manager’s behalf.
* Collaborate with support staff to secure resources for projects and initiatives.
* Welcome and coordinate visitors on behalf of the General Manager and leadership team.
* Provide diary management support at Director or Senior Manager level, arranging travel and conference calls.
* Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in event planning, communications, and administrative support as described above.
* Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills while serving as a point of contact for a large team.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
* Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
* High proficiency in English; additional EU languages are a plus.
* Preferred: Experience in a large, rapid, process‑driven environment.
* Preferred: Degree‑level qualification or equivalent.
