Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse plays a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents.

What You’ll Be Doing:
You will be a valued member of the Villa Santa Maria team and will impact in the following ways:
* Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician’s orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an RPN/LPN.
* Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
* Create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff.
* Oversee resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and provide guidance to staff.
* Supervise Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit.
* Manage admissions, readmissions, and changes in resident status, providing ongoing assessments.
Who You Are:
* A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
* Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and/or senior health industry is an asset.
* You possess good judgment, can identify risks, and foster a positive work environment.
