Your role
Pico Technology Ltd is always looking for the best people who are experts in their own right to come and share their knowledge and skills with us. On this occasion we are looking for someone who is proficient in IT systems administration and client desktop support work who is keen to learn and grow.
Reporting to the IT Manager/Team Lead, you will provide high-quality IT support, ensuring system reliability, security, and business continuity. You will manage IT projects, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to system improvements. Your role includes evaluating and documenting IT solutions, administering business-critical systems, and supporting staff through training. Continuous learning and professional development are key aspects of this role.
What we're looking for
Excellent customer service, communication & collaboration skills
Proven experience troubleshooting and working with Microsoft desktop & server operating systems and applications; MacOS and Linux know how is desirable but not essential
Proficiency in cloud applications & platform administration such as Google Workspaces or Microsoft 365; Azure or other cloud provider experience is desirable but again not essential
Experience with virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V and back-end storage
Networking skills including managing switches, firewalling and routing, VLAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS and Wi-Fi
Experience in Jira administration
