A warm and weing primary school in Stroud is seeking a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full‑time basis from 13th April. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves supporting young learners and thrives in a nurturing, play‑based environment.
The Role
1. Full‑time Reception (EYFS) Teaching Assistant
2. Supporting children with early learning, play and classroom routines
3. Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities
4. Providing 1:1 and small‑group support where needed
5. Helping to create a positive, engaging, child‑centred learning environment
6. Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
7. Has experience supporting children in Early Years (EYFS experience desirable)
8. Is warm, patient and enthusiastic about early childhood development
9. Can follow routines while also showing initiative
10. Works well as part of a collaborative team
11. Ismitted to helping young learners thrive socially and academically
