We are seeking a dynamic Sports Massage/Soft Tissue Therapist to join our team on a self-employed basis.
Reporting to the Clinic Manager, you'll be an essential part of our multidisciplinary team, providing high-standard care to self-pay and private medical insured patients, following our established clinical pathways from initial triage to discharge.
As an effective communicator, you'll build lasting relationships with clients and collaborate actively within the multidisciplinary team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Take professional responsibility as a Sports Massage/Soft Tissue Therapist, demonstrating decision-making, autonomy, and clinical reasoning skills to assess and treat clients.
2. Ensure compliance with all Bodyset policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations to deliver consistent service and customer experience.
3. Communicate effectively with clients, parents, and carers, respecting privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
4. Coordinate with referring parties to ensure continuous and uninterrupted care for clients.
5. Advise clients on nutrition, exercise, equipment, sleep habits, stress management, and overall wellbeing.
6. Proactively attract new and returning clients, including leading corporate workshops in collaboration with the partnerships manager.
7. Identify opportunities to improve clinic standards and report risks to the Clinic Manager.
8. Maintain accurate client documentation, records, and statistics promptly, in line with service agreements.
9. Engage in ongoing professional development (CPD) to enhance skills as a Sports Massage/Soft Tissue Therapist.
10. Follow relevant governing body guidelines (e.g., SMA) when treating patients.
11. Support the development of service improvements within the multidisciplinary team.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Ability to work independently while adhering to Bodyset clinical pathways.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Strong organizational, time management, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in written English and Microsoft Office programs.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in generating new business and managing your own client caseload.
* Experience working in private healthcare settings.
