About the job:
The Finance Support role is responsible for delivering both accounting and administrative assistance to the finance department, including remote support to our sites across the UK. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in providing a wide range of administrative support, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and enjoys the challenge of supporting a dynamic and busy team.
Tasks as follows.
* Phone cover and other adhoc admin tasks
* Administration of supplier invoices ensuring invoices received are reviewed, sent for approval and in the correct folder for processing.
* Processing of supplier invoices in Unit4
* Raising zero invoices in Pro Alpha for work completed within scope of our contracts
* Supplier statement reconciliation, requesting copies of invoices where needed
* Assist with compiling data for the ECITB return (review contractor invoices and enter the information onto a spreadsheet template.
* Assist with compiling data from customs documents needed for the VAT return
Skills and experience:
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
* Confident handling customer queries, resolving issues in a timely and courteous manner.
* Experience in raising and processing invoices with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* IT skills and proficiency in using an ERP system and Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
