Job Description:
HSE Manager
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced over the past two years through successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While this role is multi-site focused, it also requires hands-on responsibility across all Health and Safety aspects, not just oversight.
The manufacturing environment's unique nature necessitates previous experience in radiation and/or radioactivity. This includes creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
As the business plans to expand its facilities, the HSE Manager will also be responsible for developing new documentation and processes for implementation.
The position is primarily remote, with travel expected to each site approximately once per month. Flexibility to travel within the UK is essential. A car or car allowance will be provided as part of the benefits package.
Initially, in the first 6 months, there will be a requirement to spend 3 days on-site at one of the South-East facilities in Surrey to support immediate challenges.
For further information, please contact Mark Bux-Ryan.
Key experience:
* Established HSE / Health and Safety professional with hands-on experience
* Experience in relevant radioactive settings (not limited to pharmaceuticals)
* IRR17 experience and radiological risk assessment skills
* Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization
Keywords: HSE, health, safety, environmental, IOSH, NEBOSH, IRR17, nuclear, radioactive, radioactivity, radiopharmaceuticals, PET, tracer, radiation, cyclotron, risk, management, assessment
