Worcestershire County Council is advertising for a Customer Services Adviser to join the Customer Services Contact Centre Team at County Hall, Worcester. This is a full-time permanent role. Hours: 35 per week. Grade/Salary: £24,976 - £29,345 (experience dependent). Scale: 4/5 – Career Graded Post.
Role and Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity to join a dedicated, supportive and friendly team delivering a high standard of customer service to residents of Worcestershire. As a Customer Services Adviser you will work as part of a multi-functional team, providing a first point of contact for telephone, webchat and online enquiries. You will provide information, advice and request fulfilment services to customers on behalf of Worcestershire County Council. The role requires first-class customer service, professionalism and organisational skills. You will understand customer needs, take ownership and take appropriate action. You will be IT literate, use a variety of IT systems and maintain a full and accurate electronic record of all customer interactions. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have a can-do and practical approach and have clear, concise and assertive communication skills, both written and oral.
