Job Description: At Gregory Distribution, we are currently seeking a Transport Planner in our Cullompton depot. This position will be working within the transport team and will involve all aspect of the transport administration processes and coordination of the day to day running of this busy contract.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring timely nationwide deliveries and collections.
2. Schedule and allocate loads across a fleet of articulated vehicles, optimising routes and vehicle usage.
3. Monitor key performance indicators including on-time delivery, shift revenue, and vehicle utilisation, taking action to improve performance where needed.
4. Brief and debrief drivers regularly, providing updates, feedback, and support to ensure smooth operations.
5. Work closely with the warehouse and on-site shunter to ensure trailer and vehicle availability aligns with operational needs.
