As a result of new contracts, the engineering team are looking for motivated Technicians.As an Engineering Technician within Raytheon, you will work a team of engineers generally operating in a workshop / laboratory environment.This position offers a great deal of variety with on-job training provided.The roles responsibilities will include the following:Adhere to Company Health and Safety Policies and legislation.Mechanical assembly, modification, and repair of hardwareRegular checking of tools and machinery.Mechanical and Electrical testing.Completion of forms and maintenance records.Understand quality requirements and proactively report issues/observations.The role will also offer the opportunity to work occasionally away from the main facility in Harlow.Skills and ExperienceEssentialPrevious experience of working in electrical and mechanical technician role.Able to follow strict company Environmental Health and Safety procedures.Proficient in using tools for repair and manufacture of equipment.Ability to work accurately and to deadlinesGood hand-eye coordinationBasic computer literacy including Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).TPBN1_UKTJ
